 | Artist Takes Every Drug Known to Man, Draws Self Portraits After Each Use
Drugs This is all kinds of cool, and everything your mother mentioned to refrain from giving. Bryan Lewis Saunders is an artist from Washington D.C., not merely any artist though. Saunders would rather require a more unconventional approach to his artwork. Arguably his best project, entitled DRUGS is called follows: Drugs “After experiencing drastic alterations in my environment, I looked for other experiences that might profoundly affect my thought of the self. Therefore i devised another experiment where everyday I took another drug and drew myself under the influence. Within weeks I came to be lethargic and suffered mild brain damage. I am still conducting this experiment but over greater lapses of energy. I only take drugs that are delivered in my experience.” Below, you can view a collection of portraits Saunders drew while intoxicated by various substances including cocaine, to marijuana, to DMT.
